What is your favorite time of day for going on social media?

Do you have a favorite time of day for going on Facebook, Twitter and other social media networks?

Usually at night after I get home from work and my kids are in bed. I'd say about 8:00 or so.

Thanks for weighing in, Opining Penguin. I think that 8pm is when your quiet time begins so that makes sense that it's when would be best for you to head online. Take care!

Christy, I like to get on social media networks early in the morning say about five o'clock.  It's like a chore--let me get it done!  Meanwhile I'm hoping that none of my talkative friends are online yet.  Sometimes I finish up after 9:00 p.m. if I have incomplete business. Of course, I skip days on some sites.

You tackle the 'chore' first thing in the day!~ Thanks for sharing your views, MsDora.

Depends on the topic I am promoting. My satirical pieces and my more controversial posts I tend to post at night, my niche posts I try to promote when I see the topic trending or a related story that just broke that I can tie in. Other than that I post a lot in the morning.

I tend to post work related posts around lunch time, but for my personal use, I prefer to be on late at night.

Hello Christy. I walk onto FB when awakening (2AM PDT). I don't receive tweets as I have not a cell phone of any type, so I rarely visit twitter. Occasionally I visit Stumble Upon, Google+, and Pinterest. Likely once a month. Those occur after visiting FB in the wee morning hours. Those are all I am familiar with. I check back at around 2 - 3 PM. And, I awaken to eat at near 9PM and glance quickly. It is an established pattern of convenience and not a purpose of business enterprise.

I understand, tsmog. I think many people are creatures of habit and have certain times they frequent the networks. Facebook is a fave for many people I know too. Thanks!

I tend to find myself going on to social media more in the afternoon after people's days have started and there is more posted to read and find out how people are doing.
