Am I on the right path to convert my site into an earning venture for its members.

Of an On I consult Tech savy members at HP or other sites and they send me instructions via email or through answers to improve the site. Am I on the right path to convert my site into an earning venture for its members as in case of HubPages. Despite best efforts authors do not get tempted to register and write articles on the site.
It looks like you are inviting people to visit and join your website and which is similar to hubpages. I will try once and comment about website later.
