Data mining is when you go below the surface of the data you are investigating. It's a more intense, in-depth examination designed to "mine" little "nuggets" of information that would otherwise go unnoticed.
Data mining is the analysis of various task/activities, kept as static data in data warehouse databases.
It is actually a process used by companies analyzing raw data from different perspectives into useful information that can be used to increase revenue, cuts costs, or both.. By using software, businesses can learn more about their customers and develop more effective marketing strategies.
Data mining is basically the process of converting the raw data into useful information. By doing so, organizations come to know more about their clients and hence can make effective marketing strategies in order to increase the sales. For making, data mining more precise and useful, data collection and data warehousing should be efficient.
