Where does one find one's verification code as relates to subdomain verification?
I just noticed this when under editing my profile page. It is under "Subdomain Verification" and then it has verification code to insert on other websites. I am so confused by this and do not understand what is its purpose and what it means. I know it is most likely something very simply. Thank you for your clarification as to this verification code. There is also something about Bing Webmaster Tools.
Your subdomain is faithreaper.hubpages.com. Create a Bing Webmasters Account and then add that URL. Bing will generate a meta tag verification code that you paste into the "subdomain verification".
Hi kevinfream, thank you so much for answering and explaining just how to do such. So, its purpose is for verification? Why?
Faith, it allows you to see Bing stats, like crawl rate, errors, keyword tips, ranking movements and others. If thatinterests you, sign up.
Hello Arco Hess Designs, thank you so much for clarifying that for me. I understand now ...may need to do just that indeed.
