I know I asked this question before in the forums, but......
Can someone please tell me in plain English what the heck this means? When I go into Google Analytics it keeps saying, 'Important message' With the below:
Traffic from hostnames sending hits to property http://hubpages.com is being identified as referrals. Verify that all site pages are tagged and that the tags are configured correctly. Hostnames to investigate: hubpages.com.
I have no idea what the hell they are talking about! lol! Helpppppppp!
Do we ever really? If my traffic were the same, my pay the same, I would not worry about it.
Here is a forum post that may help: http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/125795
When I clicked on GA I get a message of A Bad Default URL and I asked this question in a forum and did not get one reply so I asked Matt@ Team Pages and he answered but did not understand where I saw it. And, I replied and have not heard back. I am sure he is busy or off for the holidays.
If I could help you Nell Rose I would---I am now thinking it is all connect to everything else that is not working, because it was working for months before the other day.
Thanks Bobbi, its just so annoying, they say something that makes no sense and expect you to understand it! lol! thanks for your help
Scroll down past the box with long list, next paragraph addresses this

I have several hubs for which Google Analytics reports "Avg Time on Page" as 00:00:00. But in HP stats, those same articles show 5 stars for View Duration. The figures for page views seem to track between GA and HP.Anybody have an idea about the view duration discrepancy?
