What is the difference between Public Network & Private Network ?
Internet and Intranet
A public network is one where anyone can access with an open password. A private network is one where only those with a password can access. The Internet is the World Wide Web accessible to all. The Intranet is a local internal web only accessible by those connected to a private network.
please tell me how we make a private network
Do you have wifi at home, and do you need a password to connect? If yes, that is a private network.
Public network is generally larger than private network it is for general people. Examples: MAN, WAN.
But, private networks are for specific group of people. Example: LAN.
