Unable to open a RTF file from Internet Explorer in Word Perfect
The problem is the same in IE 6 and IE 7. I've put the application URL in the Trusted Sites under security, so that shouldn't be an issue.
Does anyone know how to resolve this?
If the exact versions of WordPerfect on different pc's is identical, and the pc's are similar spec, then I would say these are the possibilities:-
(1) A specific Registry setting is different on the two pc's. (Maybe RTF is set to be opened with different programs on the different pc's).
(2) A library file (DLL) is different on the two pc's.
(3) A Microsoft update is loaded on one pc and not the other
(4) A setting in the firewall settings is diffrerent.

Since another thread encouraged us to switch over to the new profile layout, I have checked some of the profiles of Hubbers who have switched. There are two technical problems that I see. It is possible that they are related to my browser (IE 8.0), but I'm not currently in a position to...
