To Pin or Not to Pin on Pinterest?

I started using Pinterest about a year ago and I think it's a good way to share images and possibly increase traffic, I'm not sure if pinning images or links to Hubpages is helping with hub traffic. Is anyone out there using Pinterest to promote hubpages or are you using Pinterest for other sites?

Here is my Pinterest page, https://www.pinterest.com/easylearningweb/

Please post your Pinterest experiences, likes and dislikes here. Thanks for your feedback.

I've never had much luck drawing traffic by pinning my HP stuff. I still do it but it's more out of habit than anything else.

I mainly use Pinterest now just for fun, saving/pinning useless junk from elsewhere.

Thanks Keith, I have found the same, and I've been using Pinterest more for fun but I'm sure there are folks that have figured out how to use it for social networking and boosting traffic.

      Thanks for comment.

      Anyone out there using Pinterest?

Thanks, Peachy. I sometimes pin my hubpages or images from my hubs but there seems to be warnings about over promoting so I wasn't sure how much this is 1.) allowed, and 2.) helpful.
