Who knows about civil engineering?
Total Station what is it?
I cannot say I "know" about Civil Engineering. However, sixty-five years ago, when I was attending a technical school in the UK, in which I was studying for a foundation in engineering (which, never eventuated) Civil Engineering generally referred to projects like bridge building, highway construction, construction of airports, that kind of thing.
My apologies. I failed to read full question. Sorry, but I do not know what Total Station means.
And my apologies...I failed to notice the specific and full question. Sorry, but I do not know
Even in those days they had Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Today,of course, engineering includes the Computer Age. But to get back to 'Civil Engineering.' It is a widely used term for big, infra-structure projects.
A peek on the net reveals total station is an electronic instrument used for surveying. It gives distances between two points.
This is used for topographic measurement of the surface of the ground. It is used to measure distances, angles etc.
