Can anyone tell me how to consolidate images into thumbnails, as required by and HP editor?
I have received and email advising me that an article is eligible to be moved to WanderWisdom and asking me to -
please remove walls of photos by consolidating them into a photo capsule and using the "thumbnail" option to create a slideshow. Feel free to use a few throughout the piece.
I don't know how to do this. Where is the thumbnail option?
When you go into the photo capsule it gives you the option top left to have 'with border', 'no border' or 'thumbnail'
Hope this is what you mean!
Ann
Thanks. Ann. Must have been having a senior moment. Mission accomplished!
You won't be able to move already loaded images in the article into a thumbnail view. You will have to upload the images again.
Thumbnail is an option at the Photo capsule. You choose it at the upper left. Once done you can upload more than one image into the same Photo capsule. The first image is displayed in the article. Above that image will be thumbnails for the other images. The reader can choose each thumbnail.
Thank you for your advice, Tim. I have now overcome my techno-phobia and accomplished the task.
Thank you, Tim. I was also ignorant regarding this. But, now, I understood it well.

I have seen in most of the hubs about how they are keeping thumbnail images even after a list of photos. for example: if we have 20 pics, how we can keep only 5 or 6 thumbnail images on above the slide show.

I want to hide the thumbnails row coming above a photo capsule and show the capsule as a slideshow only, but find no option to hide the row of thumbnails appearing above the slideshow. Please help. Thanks.

Those hubs look great. I believe that feature becomes available when adding multiple images to the same photo capsule, then select "thumbnails" for display method. See here for further reference: http://hubpages.com/search/thumbnail

I think it looks good, but personally I'd start with the "Views from Olvera" section as your first paragraph instead of the current one. Follow it with the image of you on the moonlit night. Those two things establish your credentials to write about the place, and gives the...

Then I have to change them back again. Grrr!If thumbnails were displayed properly, it would be fine. But they're tiny, the selected image is tiny and can't be zoomed and captions can't be viewed while viewing the image. Overall it results in a bad reader experience.
