Recently, I noticed some strange happenings with Facebook posting.
I periodically post news items that I come across...
Lately, I noticed some odd messages. Some of the links I posted goes through but others received an error message and will not post.
I found a work around by using the Facebook Apps. It seems to post fine regardless.
It is the web access of facebook that seem to have the issues.
Does anyone else encountered similar experience?
The one common thread seems to be the political linked stories that encounter the errors. Is this some form of censorship?
I have to wonder...given recent revelations about bias at some of these social media sites.
I believe that after the furor of Russian social media posts that facebook is censoring posts. That is in line with what the government and public have demanded.
It seems that FB is trying to make the site more a "happy" place than a place to air vicious rants that accomplish nothing but to spread irrational anger.
Kind of what happens when the law hasn't caught up to reality. Companies are like fish out of water, thrashing every which way because they don't know what is expected of them and doing their best to stay out of trouble with the law.
