    I think we do.

but the real question is, would it really matter?

I'm not sure it would make much of a diffrence in our lives.

No, the question is. Why do you think we are living in a simulation? Arguments please.

Interesting! Just now, curious, I see there is a lot of information on it available in many forms from print; magazine articles, books, etc., to Lectures/Discussions; e.g Ted Talks, to person--to-person discussions from physicists to philosophers to everyday people.

I read a few articles giving rational cause/reason to acknowledge it, yet in a quandary if to believe it or not at this time. There are so many variables at play such as is the person in the simulation, you or I, being controlled by some entity (Alien  perhaps), in which case their population one would think is much greater than ours here on earth since it in essence is a game unless it is required all those entities play the game. Or, here on this earth since it began is part of a sim such as Sim City played by a single entity giving cause to ponder parallel universes for any other players of the same game.

Anyway, enough wandering. One of the many articles read is a link below that will offer plenty of reading opportunities with the titles and authors shared. And, the article may stretch one's mind to of least ponder possibility while playing with one's limited knowledge what ever that may be.

Of Course We’re Living in a Simulation
The only people who absolutely disagree are, well, scientists. They need to get over themselves and join the fun.

Also, one ponders energy can neither be created nor destroyed. Then, entropy. Then if new energy is introduced to a closed system from what system does it come from as well as why and what force does so?

Good idea and certainly worth a "Follow". Right, kick us off. Why do you think that we might be living in a simulation?

        Reasons:

It is a good answer for what is going on with the Mandela effect. Why the past keeps changing, residue of the old past etc. There are other reaasons but I will stick with one for now.
