Actually I know how to align an image to be left or right of a bunch of text. In wordpress I use "img class="alignright" and it works fine.
HOWEVER, I'm trying to put that right in my index page. When I do that, the code does not work. The images are to the left and the text below them.
So does anyone know why a blog post will show the images right (or left, right?), but not in the same theme in the index page?
Sorry, can't help.
What theme are you using? And have you tried contacting the creators?
It's a theme I bought, rather not say. I assume it has to do with the style sheet. But I thought a post and the raw index page would work the same.
Maybe the index page on a theme does not follow the style sheet. In which case it's a browser issue.
Anyway I've started to just make a table and cells to do the job, should work, thanks.

Is it possible to align an image to the left of the text? That float:left for the image (aka photo capsule.) I've tried to float the text right but then the image is knocked down beneath it. When I put the image back in it always aligns to the right of the text. Thanks

Hi,I understand how to add images, and I have been able to place them on the right hand side relative to a column of text, but no matter what I try, I cannot get the image to show up on the left hand side with the text to the right. Is that a limitation of the hubpages editing feature, or am I...

I'm not sure if this feature is already possible, but I have searched the help pages, this forum and I tried using the arrows to position a picture. I can position a picture to the -right- of text, but it seems to be impossible to align it to the left of the text.If it's not already implemented, I...

I can't really decide which theme I want. I have been suggested not to get a free one. I have heard Semiologic is awesome, but I'm not sure how much better it really is. If it is really worth it for me. and it is way better and easier to use, then there is now doubt I would want it. Any tips on the...
