I recently got my hands on a second screen. Hooked it up to the laptop, all good.
Now it's gone all funky on me. I can't seem to get the screen size (resolution?) spot on. My laptop is perfect, the stand alone screen all fuzzy - likes it's using the same size window as my laptop but over compensating because it's bigger.
I need help figuring this out - spent a good too many hours with it alread and so far I've managed to lose the screen altogether, make it so small I'd need 10x stronger glasses, make the mouse now move from the right to get onto it - etc etc.
Any help gratefully received
OH - laptop is about 15" (widescreen looking at it) and the other looks to be 15" square.
Have you tried right clicking your Desktop --> Properties --> Settings --> you should see two boxes marked 1&2 with the 1 being the settings for your laptop screen and 2 being the second screen?

What is the difference between a laptop, iPad, Notebook and Tablet or are they all the same?At face value they appear to be the same, just in different packaging.

Recommendations please? From the many brands of laptop what would hubbers recommend? It would...basically be used for writing/research, shopping, e-mail and hubpages of course. No gaming done.

We're just looking for a basic laptop--no gaming, no movie-watching, or anything like that. Just one for researching and writing hubs, that's all, with a bigger size screen. Oh, and fairly reasonable in...
