I was working on a site that I haven't touched in awhile.
I went into Quick Edit on a post to change a single word in the title, and over 20 posts and 5 pages were deleted when I pressed update.
I've restored the content from a backup and updated everything I can think of, but it still does it.
I'm avoiding Quick Edit now - for obvious reasons - but am very curious. Can't get any help on the WP forums. So anyone have ANY idea why this would happen?
I'd definitely recommend having some way to quickly backup and restore your site! I think it might be a plugin or something but can't figure it out and there is no info anywhere.
Glad I'm not alone.
I have never had this happen using the EDIT function.
It works fine.
I have looked at using Quick Edit once, but didn't like the look of what was on offer, so I just clicked out of the page with no detrimental results.
I use the Edit function quite a lot on one of my sites to keep pages up to date, and fresh.
Perhaps it's a problem with the theme you are using.
I'm no authority on WP, but love to use it for it's simplicity and features.

Despite all that's gone on, I still consider HubPages my online home and the place where I'd prefer my content live. In fact, I've been extremely impressed and excited about the niche sites, and my traffic for Hubs moved over has looked really, really good. However, I still have concerns, namely...
