I'm trying to get my sites crawled by Bing but I'm stuck at the point of verifying ownership.
Can anyone give me the simple layman's language for uploading Bing XML file to the root directory of my site?
How do I do this?
I know,I'm new to this game.Sorry.
If you're looking to do this process for your HubPages sub domain unfortunately it isn't possible. We don't have access to add files at the root level of the sub domain.
If your referring to another domain then in most cases you can do this through the file manager in the web control panel.
For example using Hostgator's cPanel you would use the file manager feature. Within the file manager there is an upload file feature.
Your web host should offer some basic support on how to do this.
