Hackers Attacked Apple Ipad | 300,000 iPads Sold in 1 day | Gameloft Released New Games

Updated on March 14, 2011

A group of popular hackers called, Dev Team, who have had already broken security mechanisms of iPhone have now jail broken IPAD and unblocked its order to install unauthorized applications. This latest device from Apple sold 300,000 copies in the United States on Saturday.

The Apple Ipad, which proved a bestseller on its release date was pirated in just over 24 hours of its release and hackers placed a video on YouTube (see video below) and a message on Twitter to inform about this. This video was released by MuscleNerd on YouTube. After going through this video, owners of Apple iPad can modify original Apple applications and install third party applications not authorized by the manufacturer.

George Hotz, iPhone Hacker, claims that they have developed a latest hacking software for iPad which can be used at iPhone and iPod Touch also. The new software is much more advanced and simple to use than the previous version called as blackra1n. It has been also mentioned that MuscleNerd has used the same exploit to open up iPad which he used to open up the iPhone OS which was recently in news. The basic point here is that Apple's New Device runs on same OS as OS3.2 iPhone used to run. So this may be the reason why it took MuscleNerd just a few hours to break the codes of iPad with multitasking features.
