Hard Rock Hotel All Inclusive Cancun Mexico
Cancun Mexico Vacation
Our family manages to take a trip every other year to Cancun Mexico and has become one of our favorite vacation spots. All-inclusive resort was one of the best experiences of my life.
Over the years, we have learned a few things that I would like to share with my readers.
When we travel to Cancun, we will stay at the Hard Rock Hotel (formerly the Cancun Palace). This five star hotel continues to amaze me with the friendly staff, cleanliness, and the styling of the resort.
I remember the first time we went to Cancun; I wanted to maximize my stay by taking advantage of our 4 nights 5 day All-Inclusive vacation package. We booked the earliest flight possible arriving in Cancun early in the morning, the fact that our rooms would not be ready until 2:00 PM was of no concern to us. All we wanted to do it hit the beach and get as much Caribbean sun as possible.
Upon our arrival from the airport, friendly door attendants, welcomed us with a glass of champagne and cool lavender scented towels.
Because of our early arrival, we were able to request one of the best rooms, with pool and ocean views. The check-in clerk watched over our luggage as we explored the majestic hotel lobby --found one of the restaurants, grabbed a margarita and a towel (yes in that order) and headed off to the pool and of course the beach.
This resort has everything you need: modern facilities and amenities the styling and architecture portray a feeling of exclusive private beaches, with its horseshoe shaped resort you are indeed a special guest. The Hard Rock Hotel is flanked by the Caribbean Sea and the Nicjupte Lagoon. The resort features 601 beautifully guestrooms with ocean or lagoon views from private balconies.
Amenities include a chilled welcome towel to 24-hour room service and wireless Internet.
Five restaurants from Mexican, International, Oriental and Italian fares. Snack and pool bars and 24-hour in room dining add to the options for meals and refreshments.

Travel Tip #1 Early check in allows you to request the best rooms
Once our room was ready, we walked into a fantastic room with the most beautiful ocean views. Our bar was stocked, with liquor, beer, sodas, and bottled water. Room service was also included in our vacation package. I have been at a few five star hotels in the United States and I was charged for every cookie, bottled water, and various snacks they left for me in the room. (You know what I mean--- a bag of M&Ms would cost me 3 dollars even with my hotel points!).
Travel Tip #2 Stay at an All-inclusive resort, enjoy restaurants, drinks, room service and gratuity all included in your package. No need to carry a purse/wallet. Also have access to all Five Palace resorts, restaurants and amenities.
Once settled in we headed back to the beach, when a waiter brought us beach chairs, sun umbrellas, a table and re-fills on our drinks. We relished in the VIP treatment as we soaked up the sun, gazed over the white sands into the bluest ocean I had ever seen.
That evening we enjoyed fine dining at the hotel five star Sushi Bar. The Cancun Palace resort features poolside entertainment every night with native dancers, music and fire shows. When we returned to our rooms, we discovered that the maids had provided turn down service with chocolate treats on our pillows. What a fantastic ending to a beautiful day.
Our all-inclusive package featured a trip to Tulum and snorkeling on the reef. We also enjoyed a boat trip to one of the islands where we swam with the dolphins and petted a shark. (Food and drinks included---added fee to swim with dolphins).
Travel Trip # 3 Book the added trips with the Hotel All-inclusive package. Sight seeing trips -- includes transportation, snorkel equipment, meals, drinks and gratuity. Don't fall for the free trips as they will talk you into a time-share seminar. Stick with the Hotel concierge.
We had so much fun, snorkeling, seeing the ancient Mayan ruins, jumping on the party bus down town Cancun, shopping in the markets, Para Sailing, jet skiing over the waves, and much more that we have made it a family tradition to return every other year to Cancun. We have made 4 trips there so far. The people are so friendly, the beaches and the city so clean it is truly paradise.
On our last day, we had booked the latest flight out of Cancun, in order to soak up last minute Caribbean sun. The hotel offered a complementary room, to shower and get ready for the flight back home.
Travel Tip #4 Ask the hotel concierge to allow you to freshen up for your flight home if leaving after check out time. Sometimes they have one available if not you can always use the fitness center facility restrooms and showers. (This is only for the die hard – hate to leave—play on the beach as long as you can tourist – smile).
Travel Tip #5
