Tucked in just minutes from the heart of Downtown Denver, Cherry Creek offers something for just about anyone looking for a little bit of sophistication.
The Cherry Creek Mall anchors the Cherry Creek area and is home to some of the world's premier retailers including, Neiman Marcus, Sachs Fifth Avenue, and Tiffany & Co, just to name a few. The mall offers upscale retail shopping for everything from fashion, clothing, shoes, hand bags, and jewelery to toys, children's clothing, and even a movie theater.
While many nearby areas try and claim Cherry Creek as home, to Denver natives and long-time locals, the real borders of Cherry Creek are 1st Avenue (Speer Boulevard), University (Josephine), Fourth Avenue, and Steele Street, plus the mall.
This prime Denver shopping area is the king of Denver retail along with the ever popular 16th Street Mall downtown.

When most people talk about Cherry Creek, they mean Cherry Creek North. An official business district within the City and County of Denver, Colorado, CCN, as it is sometimes written, is home to numerous high-end retailers. Stores range from national chains to local boutiques, and covers pretty much everything in between. Retailers like White House | Black Market sit side by side with Crate and Barrel, and even a three-story Sears store.
Moving on past traditional shopping, the Cherry Creek North shopping district is packed with salons, spas, and jewelry stores. There is even a high-end health club for those looking to get in a workout to stay healthy before or after hitting the stores. Located in the old Tattered Cover building directly across the street from the mall, Pura Vida is a new gym which means all new equipment, exercise classes, including yoga and pilates, and more. On the fourth floor, is one of Denver's top day spas. Nectar offers a full range of spa services for relaxing and pampering, including some of the best massage in Denver. Opt for Swedish massage, hot stone massage, or the aptly named Melt massage for the ultimate relaxation.
Cherry Creek North also packs plenty of Denver's fine dining options, as well as plenty of casual eateries offering a full range of menus from steakhouses to sushi restaurants to pub food, with plenty of places offering a unique twist on old themes.
Elway's Steakhouse, though technically across the street, offers up top-notch aged steaks and a classy, but comfortable atmosphere. Long-time Cherry Creek resident The Cherry Cricket offers up some of the best burgers in Denver, along with plenty of other pub menu choices and even a smattering of Mexican food. The Cherry Creek Grill offers a seemingly similar menu, but from a more upscale perspective. Then, just for good measure, a California Pizza Kitchen serves up some pizza in Denver.
Some of Denver's best dining gems sit quietly in Cherry Creek North serving up delicious food in a great location. Crepes 'n Crepes offers up delicious French style crepes. Just a block away, Argyl sheds new light on the traditional Scottish Pub as a "gastro pub" serving up pub fare in a "finer-dining" style.
Finally, some of Denver's upscale hotels are located Southwest of Downtown Denver in Cherry Creek. The J.W. Marriot anchors the high-end luxury hotel market. Nearby is the Inn at Cherry Creek. Coming in 2010, a new Hilton Garden Inn offers a different level of service in nearby Glendale, Colorado. Of course, plenty of other Denver lodgings offer comfortable rooms at reasonable rates. Depending upon the time of year and day of the week, the hotels at Denver International Airport - DIA - can be a good bargain.
