Playa de San Juan is a resort on Tenerife's southwest coast

Playa de San Juan is located in the south of Tenerife but on its west coast , with the other popular resorts of Alcalá, Playa de La Arena and Los Gigantes further along from it. Playa de San Juan, which means St John's Beach, is also a favourite spot for locals from the nearby town of Guía de Isora.

As its name suggests, the main attraction of Playa de San Juan is the beach and it boasts several of these. Playa de San Juan has a white sand beach that has been artifically created, a black volcanic sand beach, a rocky beach and another that lies mostly covered in pebbles and stones.The natural black sand beach has been honoured with a Blue Flag award.
