Top 10 things to do in Baltimore, Md - Part I

Baltimore is known for its great hospitality and people's appreciation of food and other fine things in life. Inner Harbor at Baltimore is quite an action packed place to be having fun.

6. American Visionary Art Museum

One of the Top 10 things to do in Baltimore, Maryland is the American Visionary Art Museum as it can be described in just one word - Incredible. There are no rules for artwork displayed here or professional artists made these grand intriguing art work. The wood sculpture made by a mental asylum resident from a tree struck by lightning is a must see. These are paintings and sculptures not by academy graduates, but by self-taught amateurs, psychopaths and of the sort. Ticket prices for admission into the museum are $8 and is well worth it.

Port Discovery in Baltimore is in the list of Top 10 places to see in Baltimore because of the kid-friendly activities abound at this museum that entertains everyone. Activities like getting wet at Wonders of Water, a delightful tomb-raider pyramid setting, deciphering Egyptian hieroglyphics at Adventure Expeditions, and climbing to the ceiling at the KidWorks jungle gym is just a dream come true.  Ticket prices are $11 per adult and a little less for kids. Kids will absolutely enjoy the Dream Lab and the Exploration Center, where visitors  learn how to make their own art and jewelry. Children can climb, crawl, swing and slide in the Port Discovery's three-story treehouse which is unforgettable fun.
