For those that are writing about specific places, do you believe you have any impact on people's decision to actually visit the place? As in, if you are writing why should someone visit small city on Italian coast and not Rome for example, do you believe your work might make a difference?
Or if there is a smaller city next to major tourist area and you write about it, do you think people will follow your advice and visit the smaller city?
How hard is it to draw the people to your hub in the first place if you are writing about some really awesome but not popular place? Do travel blogs get a lot of views here to justify writing about them? Browsing around hubpages I've found this is one of the smaller communities.
