I've seen so many it's hard to choose but perhaps it was high up a mountain in Australia, near the Gold Coast. Awesome!
Or perhaps it was the one in Austria when I was on the Alps and somehow being surrounded by snow and mountains made it all the clearer and it lasted for ages -also being so high up with no obstructions, not even trees, it was totally surrounding us -this amazing changing sky all around us -yeah, that's my choice after all!

I saw it once when I was in Hawaii, on a hilltop, looking down into the Pacific Ocean - consider it interesting.

New Zealand sunrises are over the Pacific Ocean and our sunsets over the Tasman Sea.  Either way we have pretty awesome sights.  My favorite is sunrise on my local beach, with a fishing rod catching breakfast and the first rays of the sun.

It is a very lucky way to greet a new day.

i saw the most amazing sunrise in Paris when i was 16. The sky was purple, the streets quiet, and the party was over. I walked down the street in evening clothes and high-heals eating a fresh chocolate croissant. Only for a moment did the sky stay purple then it started to rain.

Denver Colorado. The sun setting against those beautiful mountains was breathtaking.

Radiant orange and luminous violet were bathing the western horizon in the Nebraska sandhills as I drove west, alone, for my first year in college.  The fierceness of that sunset challenged me as I anticipated real adulthood.  There in that blazing wall of color however, was also an innocent streak of pink, somehow not being overpowered, which reminded me to treasure the lessons of the childhood I was so eagerly leaving behind. Given how visually stunning and emotionally charging that sunset was, It's difficult to believe that I'll see a more memorable one, but that won't stop me from looking.

Sunrise in the Bighorn mountains in Wyoming...it never ceases to amaze me how things just come alive as the sun creeps out over the trees and meadows. That said, I've also seen some gorgeous sunsets in the Wyoming badlands and home in Sheridan.

Aboard a cruise liner in the South Pacific two years ago. The weather was perfect with not a cloud in the sky, and the Sunset was breathtaking.
Hundreds of passengers including myself all stood on the port side of the vessel clicking away with our cameras at the blaze of colours until the blood red ball that was the sun sank below the horizon.

An unusually brilliant sunset on the Canadian prairies about 3 years ago. I can't begin to describe the colours. The intensity was breathtaking and it seemed to fill the sky.

Goderich, where I live, has truly beautiful sunsets nearly every night. I've actually posted a few on my website, although I haven't hubbed them because I dont' know what to write about. I love the shades of purple and orange, they just seem to last forever. Seeing them on my balcony is absolutely amazing.
Not trying to promote, but if you wanna check out teh picture it's on my website, in my profile.
Actually l managed to put one of the sunset photos as my profile pic. NO need to go to the site les syou want to see others.
