If I take a flight from anywhere on the US mainland to Alaska or Hawaii, do you need my passport?
in other words is this classed as an internal flight?
Alaska and Hawaii are part of the United States - although the local from both states would rather secede!
No need for pass port to travel within the United States - , including Puerto Rica, American Samoa and etal territories....
No, no passport needed as they are both states of the United States.

You could split time between two places based on the season. Summer: Northern Minnesota...lakes, nice weather, clean air, can't beat it.Any other time: Savannah, Georgia. Nice beaches, decent weather...
