My favorite paper money is the Swiss Franc. Every bill is a different color and size, so it's easy to tell them apart. Is anything better than the greenback? What do you think?
Australian money is pretty cool. Very colorful, and I think it's made from plastic.
Australian money... without a doubt the weirdest bank notes in the world. I suspect to protect them from the inevitable Fosters spillages!
Yeah, Go Australia! Although it's such a shame we cap out with a $100 note, I'd love a higher one that's rare amoung the proles.
In Switzerland there is a 1000 Franc note (nearly USD 1000 at current exchange rates) - you don't see them very often though
Brazilian money, pink and purple. In the words of the kidnappers in the Brazil episode of The Simpsons, "Is our money really this gay?" But seriously, it looks cool.
Australian money is fantastic as it is waterproof after a life spent putting tenners in the washing and having to stick them back together I love it!!
Monopoly money (Fun fact: there's more monopoly money printed than actual currency in the US)
I have a bunch of Slovak money that I never converted. The bills are much smaller than any paper money I've seen and various colors like the Euro. Of course, a month after my Slovakian trip they convert to Euro's and the money I have yet to convert is now useless...
Well, it's pretty cool looking at least.
Aussie money - made of plastic to protect it when people jump into the ocean with money in their pockets.....

Why does paper money *expire* when the country of origin still exists?I really do NOT understand how a country (like Mexico) can print money and then say it isn't worth its face value. I have a 5000 pecos bill from 1989 and apparently it is now Not Worth 5000 pecos - arrggg.

What is Money Actually? It is an often-asked question, and honestly, I still don’t clearly understand what is money. You see when we had real money; we had no distinction between wealth and money. The notion was that gold/silver, etc., is money. With the advent of paper money, we shifted our notion...
