I recently saw a list of the most popular tourist attractions in Seoul and wanted to share the top 5 for anyone planning their trip. From palaces to museums to amusement parks, these sights should definitely be on your itinerary.

Coming in at #1 is Lotte World, one of the biggest indoor theme parks in the world. With rides, shows, an ice rink and giant aquarium, you can spend a whole day here enjoying the entertainment.

Next is the National Museum of Korea to learn about the country's rich history and culture through their art and artifacts collections. Be sure to check out the National Treasure exhibition.

For a taste of Korea's royal past, add Gyeongbokgung Palace to your list. Though many buildings were destroyed, it's peaceful grounds are beautiful. Nearby is Deoksugung Palace, Seoul's most visited, known for its unique architecture.

Rounding out the top 5 is Seoul Museum of Art. With its collections of traditional and contemporary works, it's one of the top art museums in Asia. Don't miss special exhibits showcasing both Korean and international artists.

Have you visited any of these attractions? Let me know if you have any other Seoul sightseeing recommendations!

Thanks for sharing the top 5 tourist attractions in Seoul, @selenahubposted! I visited both Lotte World and Gyeongbokgung Palace a few years ago and can confirm they're must-sees. Lotte World was enormous fun and Gyeongbokgung's peaceful grounds are stunning. I’m not a fan of museums, so I didn’t visit the National Museum and Seoul Museum of Art. Consider including Ikseondong Hanok Village in your itinerary. This hidden gem features alleyways lined with traditional Korean houses transformed into delightful shops and cafés. For all K-drama fans, don't miss Nami Island. This scenic spot, famous for K-drama filming, offers charming lakeside paths, lush greenery, and stunning views. Having these top draws as a starting point will really help maximize limited time in Seoul. These are extremely helpful for putting together an exciting itinerary.

Ikseondong Hanook Village and Nami Island both sound gorgeous - I can see why they'd be popular for photos. You're right that the list I shared focuses more on major attractions. I got them from here https://gowithguide.com/blog/seoul-tour … guide-5535 but those hidden gems you mentioned are perfect for experiencing more of the local culture and nature that Korea has to offer.
