What are 5 extreme touristic destinations you would like to visit?

There are some extreme touristic destinations in the world. For example, Antarctic, Baltoro Glacier of Pakistan where mountains are still being formed due collision of land mass, Patagonia in Argentina, Okawango Delta in Botswana, Mount Aetna (stratovolcano) in Sicily, Australian outback, the deserts of Sahara and Namib, Amazon River, etc. I have my following 5:
    1. Observing polar bears in Churchill, Canada
    2. Baltoro Glacier, Pakistan
    3. Russian Far East to observe Amur Tigers and Amur Leopards
    4. Yellowstone National Park
    5. Fjords of Norway

So what are your top 5?

Good question.  My first extreme destination would certainly be Antarctica. I've always wanted to go see the Penguin colonies in their natural habitat.   Next up would be the Galapagos Islands.  Oh, just came to me, I want to take the train to the top of the Jungfrau in Switzerland, an amazing destination.  I've always wanted to go on a safari so somewhere in Africa, maybe Kenya or Tanzania.  The last place would have to be Iceland.  I've had this fascination with Iceland for a while now so I would have to include it.

Jungfrau and Iceland are definitely two great destinations. I remember Iceland due Kieko of Free Willie fame.

The pyramids in Egypt. I've been to Egypt and it's beautiful...but I didn't make it to the pyramids :-(.

I've always wanted to be in a hot air balloon floating over a beach in New Zealand.

I'd love to ride an elephant in india :-p.

Sound of music!...Do you remember that scene where Maria's singing and skipping merrily, guitar in hand; around that fountain in Austria? I've always wanted to go there!

St. Charles Bridge in Prague in the winter. I went in the summer, but thought when I was there that it would look twice as magical with a little snowfall :-)

My top extreme destination would be anywhere in outer space.  I would also like to visit one of the ice hotels, see the northern lights, go on a safari, and live with monkeys..

As a Star Trek fan, I hope I will be able to at least see Mars being colonized during my lifetime lol. I was following Yukon Quest and Iditarod dog sled races recently and was able to see the Northern Lights videos posted by many on their sites.
