Unfortunately, I think it will scare a few people off. Personally I'm still going ahead with a planned June cruise, but have been soaking up all the interviews with people that were on board the Costa ship to see what they did to get off and what they suggest if you are on a cruise.
No - I still would go on a cruise - we all still drive a car & there are crashes every day , I have been on a few ships now with no problems & there are loads of ships out there all the time .
It doesn't put me off booking a cruise, it just makes me look for a ship that's not so big.
Just pack a fancy dress captain's uniform - then if there is a problem, put it on, and fall into the first lifeboat to leave the sinking ship

Would you go on a cruise again if you were involved in Costa Concordia wreck? If you had been on a cruise that had an experience like the recent Costa Concordia cruise ship wreck, would you ever go on a cruise again? Yes or No? Why or Why Not? Or would it make no difference at all...

In light of the recent cruise disaster covered on the news would you still go on a cruise and why?I went on a carnival cruise to canada and loved it. I'm trying to talk my best friend in to going on one and then the dreaded fire on the boat broke out and she's not budging.
