Salobreña Atmospheric Accommodation

Hostal San Juan is a good base for a holiday full of opportunities on Costa Tropical in the province of Granada.

San Juan is located in a quiet side street in the city center of Salobreña - only 10 minutes walk from the beach and about the same walking distance from the old town of Salobreña.

You can park in the street right outside the hostal - on Calle Jardines, but the rest of the street is strictly pedestrian. There is a garage for motorbikes.

The Patio is The Heart of San Juan

The host-couple, French Jean Pierre and his Spanish wife, Maria Carmen, bought the place at the start of the millennium, and spent the first year renovating the building and transforming it into the atmospheric and tastefully decorated hostal that San Juan is today.

There is no restaurant and no bar in San Juan, but the charming patio at the reception serves breakfast every morning between 8.00 and 11.00 including a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. You do not need to order breakfast in advance, you simply turn up if you feel like it, or you go out and have breakfast somewhere else – according to your mood.

- When you're on vacation, says Jean-Pierre, -you should be free to do what you want, and there must be room to be spontaneous.

- Since we do not have either restaurant or bar in San Juan, breakfast is the only time we have the chance to pamper our customers, says Jean Pierre. – During breakfast we have time to give advice about the area and assist with booking of tours.

In the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the patio guests can use the Internet for free.

The city itself has a rich variety of restaurants from Steak Houses, Pizza- and Tapas bars to Seafood Restaurants
