What are some craft ideas that can be made quickly and are nice enough to be sold?

I have been asked by my church to help raise money and since I'm a crafter I have decided to use my skills to make items to sell.  I have a list of ideas already I think will make great items for sale, but I wanted to see if anyone else had any ideas I hadn't thought of.  My skills include crocheting, paper crafts, sculpting, sewing, and digital media.  I'm open to any ideas that use any of these skills and can be made in bulk fairly quickly.  I'll probably be the only one putting these together so the less time consuming the better.

I've written a hub that lists  good craft sale items. It focuses mostly on sewing, but includes a few other things as well.

I recommend gift baskets. It's quick and easy. You choose a theme (bath/lotion products, chocolate, wine and cheese, manicure/pedicure, fruit, etc.), buy your items, preferably in bulk, and all of your supplies. I made 30 spa baskets in a week last December. I do them every year for my church bazaar. See my hub on spa baskets. Good luck with finding an idea.

This is a wonderful idea that I can actually enlist helpers for.  Thanks a lot, I'm definitely going to add this to my list!

I would recommend paper and tile coasters with round felt circles, you need modge podge and a sealer.  They are fun to make and can be quite beautiful and different.  Great for extra designer paper (scrapbooking paper) which you might have laying around. smile do a youtube search making tile coasters... smile Send me a direct message if you need help to find. smile

Ooh, I recently wrote a hub about reusing jeans which may help you out. You can save money on cost of material, and the crafts are very easy to do. I made the pillow at the bottom of the hub in about 15 minutes.

For fast I'd crochet or loom knit hats or scarves (I'm actually unaware if these would be quick with crochet as I knit, but I hope so!).

Digital media could be printed and turned into necklaces using photo charms or scrabble tiles with Mod Podge glue to seal the paper.

I don't know if they would sell as you'll have to hit the right person, but you could make mini scrapbooks for vague themes such as vacation or pets or spiritual growth (baptism, first communion, confirmation, etc.) since it's a church.

Are edibles allowed? Cake pops are sure to be a hit and they're easy to learn to make. :-)

Hi, coming in a little late to this conversation ... have you heard of prayer pillows?  You make whatever kind of cute pillow you decide on (denim, lace, velvet, etc.) and add a small pocket on the back.  The idea is that the owner of the pillow writes down his/her prayer on a scrap of paper, folds it, and tucks it into the little pocket.
