In a line of reasoning that I will call mistic and esoteric you are right. If we take the horizon as the mediate thinking and self-awareness and we do some introspection/meditation within then «we'll go far beyond the horizon», we'll go deep in ourselves. And by that you will find the essence of being, to some, your higher being, the light within.
For me that is the essence of Buddhism (and also other religions)but of course for plenty it wouldn't make sense. smile

I'm glad you have interpreted the shining star as being something of a higher being within yourself. Most people immediately see the shining star as a third party other than themselves. Then again, I suspect you are not "most people" and you make perfect sense to me.

You may not look like one but a shining star can come from within. Beauty is skin deep and I'm not gay. smile

      In this summer breeze
      I feel your body ease
      Among the sunburnt leaves
I fall aslepp upon your sleeve
