   When choosing a product do you look at reviews of previous customers before buying.and believe it?
   
   I have often wondered if reviews really are helpful because some people will complain about it no matter what.  For instance my husband and I went on vacation to the Dominican Republic stayed at a very nice resort that was all inclusive.  When I came home to write a review about the resort on trip advisor I could not believe the things people complained about giving the hotel a one rating when it was the most paradise place in the world.  Complaints as trivial as I saw a piece of paper on the ground and it was there for ten minutes.  Really? Can you clean up after 2,000 guest in  10 minutes

   When purchasing something expensive or potentially full of bugs (like a new printer), i read a lot of reviews and consider them. But I do my best to ignore issues that I would find trivial, and to try to find out if the genuine problems people report are rare or common, or were common, but have been resolved by an upgrade or improved service. On the other hand, I take signs of poor customer service and unreliable companies very seriously.

   I also check reviews for things like electronics that could have problems. I also give reviews, good or bad, whenever I buy a product or use a service. There "ain't no pleasin' some folks," as my Grandma used to say.

   Yes reviewing the customer service track record of a company is critical before buying as they may offer a very good price but be unable to deliver. Important to chose a reputable review site and be able to discount the many fake reviews which are now being posted regularly
