   It depends on the size of the corporation.  Many meet meet their potential spouse at the work place and therefore are necessarily going to work together.  If the company is small then the couple will need excellent communication skills.

   Your relationship is public knowledge if you share the same lastname. It's above board for everyone to see as opposed to the typical story of the woman who for instance manipulates the rosters to give her boyfriend an advantage over his peers.
   
   If you've been married long enough and can restrain from kissing in the corridor nobody will mind. If fact you could use your relationship to organise social activities between male and female workers at your workplace. That could clear the air and people could talk to each other without it being considered harassment.
   
   If you have children this could be an advantage to share the juggling of child minding arrangements.

   It is a good thing , but , some employers do not allow husband and wife to work at the same office. This may be because the employer thinks that the employees will think about family chores and discuss such things at office without concentrating on work.
   
   My personal opinion is that , allowing husband and wife to work at same office , will be  a very good thing. Especially it will allow both of them to arrive earlier at office and it will be time saving for them to go to one place , than to go to two different places.

   I met my husband at work.  It was difficult at best. 
   
   The reason companies frown upon husband/wife teams in the same area is to avoid any appearance of impropriety or favoritism i.e., one reporting to the other.
   
   The most obvious down side is that of this downturn in the economy.  Husband and Wife working for the same employer is the equivalent of putting all your eggs in one basket.  DANGEROUS!!!!!
   
   All things being equal, I believe it is best to avoid it - unless it is a family owned company.

   Based on my experience..the answer is  " NO"
   
   why...coz we were running a furniture production from teak and flooring...
   so stress handle daily jobs...
   many times we're fightings for small things coz of diffrerent opinion. the worst is.. we're not proffesional and bring the fight til home..
   you know exactly how...the rest...
   
   
   so now.. i decide to be just a house wife..
   that's really enjoy..coz now i do really only house matters..
   
   
   but..could be in some other case ok to work together as husband n wife. i just write you what was my experiences..
