What online sites do you find are the best for making money online as a freelance writer?

What are the pros and cons of the sites you use?

I have tried half a dozen sites and HubPages has been the most successful for me.

I actually am making money online already, I am only asking this question generally--not looking for help specifically for me.

I have been writing for Demand Studios Media for about 1 1/2 years. The money is not fabulous, but at least it is a reliable income source. I think basic articles range from $7.50 to $20 per, depending on degree of difficulty and word count. There may be some lower pay articles (I don't recall off hand -- I never claim them.) They also have opportunities for writers with expertise in certain areas to write features that pay $50 and $80 (don't quote me on the amounts.) Currently I contribute to eHow and Livestrong.com and just had a travel-related article published on USAToday.com. The Demand Media writing guidelines are very stringent and the articles require legitimate references and in many cases, in text citations. This can slow down the writing process, but once you are comfortable with the voice and formats you can increase your writing output. The main "con" for me is the ebb and flow of titles. Right now pickings are slim. That may not be a problem depending on your areas of interest and knowledge. A "pro" is you get to pick the articles and have one week to complete them (I think they give us two days for rewrites.) There is no quota -- you can do as many or as few as you want. Hope this helps!

Demand Studios requires ownership of your articles, whether or not they accept and you are paid for it, don't they?

The link above is a info barrel sign up link.  Info barrel is a site that is similar to hubpages. . . .but probably a whole lot smaller, and probably newer as well.  I prefer hubpages, and the info barrel is the only other site like this one that I've looked at.  I don't think that anyone should have all of their eggs in the same bucket, if you know what I mean.

Most of my answers are in part and pieces

    2 angles to freelance writing
        1) Write for self those are your assets (at least partially) like you share on hubs
        2) Write for others like on sites like scriptlance/ guru.com/etc etc..............

I prefer first option as its part of me, and I enjoy it. To improve answer there some which atleast partly as good as hubpages like squidoo etc...

http://www.freelancer.com is the best site for freelancing writer work. You can earn good amount of money here. But you should be familiar with changing mode of business owner who are seeking freelancer for their work. These days most of the employer are not selecting one or individual freelancer for their task. They prefer to group of freelancer.
