Easy And Superb Methods To Increase Traffic To Hubs

Updated on August 13, 2013

Traffic, traffic, traffic...

Traffic is one of the biggest thing when it comes to writing an article. Regardless where you publish it, without traffic could mean a stall period of your earnings and even readership. In fact, this is the biggest nightmare for any writers. Thankfully at HubPages, there are multiple ways we can attract readership which would be easily done to all your articles.

Importance of the very first impression

The first impression of the hub is the most important of all. Being said that, imagine you are visiting hub and what is the first few things that you will recognize and see? For me, I am easily turned down with wall of text articles. Readers who uses bold, italic and underline words will easily attract me to read more and further down. Basically, when you are writing an article, allow your mind to go wild and put on your creative hat. You would definitely need to be different from the rest if you want to beat your competitors!

What attracts your eyes?

In order to increase traffic to hubs, always ask what attracts your eyes as a reader. Taking myself as an example (again), pictures, tables etc are the one who attract me a lot...big time. Don't make your hub boring but make it lively by adding pictures, tables, some links and even affiliate products! Always remember that if you keep your visitors 'entertained', you can even tie them down for the 1,000 words article.

What I love about this is through out my experience writing, some writers are really good in attracting my attention throwing in sub topics, pictures and even slides to keep me occupied. For those doing that, kudos to you!

No harm to try something new

Thanks to HubPages as we are given sub topics to play around. For example, we can place two capsules containing text and we can 'colour' the one on the right with colours. What I really love about HubPages is the ability to perform 'combo' placing which is two capsules in the same row. With this, your creativity is your own barrier as you can mix and match between different capsules that HubPages can offer.

I strongly suggest hubbers and new join writers to try playing around with the arrow buttons on the capsules to get the best placement for your article and making it superb exciting. I truly believe that with the right capsules placed side by side, we can create a great reading experience for all our visitors.
