An official Updated 60DC Challenge - the Return Intro will be released shortly, just giving a notice for all who are interested that the game is afoot

What is a 60 Day Challenge?

Most Hubpage users are familiar with the 30 day challenge, a personal goal of creating 30 hubs in 30 days.

Its a great concept that proves to each of us individually that our output can be much greater than we imagine. It also shows the power of personal goals.

But is it the best of challenges for optimal income generation. No, absolutely not. Its an incomplete challenge, so I am presenting the 60 day Challenge.

Phase 1: HubPages 60 Day Challenge

Just like the 30 Day challenge, we will be creating 30 Hubs in 30 days as the first phase.

Distinct differences:

A participant will select a minimum of 6 broad topics and a maximum of 10 topics that these Hubs will fall into. This topic selection will have important purposes later during the promotion process of the 60 day challenge.

After selecting your broad topics a participant will do their keyword research and begin writing their hubs at their own natural pace.

These broad topics will be used as your groups in the hub platform and as groups in our second phase of promotion.

Goal 1: Publish 30 Hubs in 30 days

Phase 2 : 60 Day Challenge

Taking a cue from HubPages old Flagship hub traffic bonus rules, we are going to spend at least 30 days (there is no reason not to start directly after publishing a new hub) attempting to get each hub to receive one view from 10 different sources.

Goal 2: Receive at least 1 view through 10 different sources after 60 days.

Once we reach 12 SERIOUS participants the challenge will begin

Will You participate in the 60 day Challenge?

How to Participate in the 60 Day Challenge

After deciding you are going to commit to the 60 day Challenge, head on over to here:

Who wants to participate in the 60 Day Challenge

Select Answer this Question and create a hub. Pick any title you like..the hub will be a variation of a "capstone hub" another old HubPages program.

This hub will be your hubchallenge log, you will keep track of your publications and promotion efforts here. It will be a way for other 60 Day challengers to cheer you along and help in your promotion efforts.

Examples of Hublogs from the first 60 day Challenge -

These are just examples, there is no right or wrong way, and keeping live stats is not necessary at all for this challenge - our goal is a very broad set of traffic sources at the end of 60 days, and the ability to cheer each other on and keep us motivated.

Since this hub wont be finished yet, you can leave it unpublished, or even better write an intro paragraph that outlines your personal goals and gives something that the other 60 day challengers (April Challenge Team) can hold you to.

The other special addition will be the use of some group tags

  • taggety taggety (these will be revealed shortly)
  • taggety taggety too
  • taggety taggety three

Include these two (three) tags in each of your new hubs during the first phase (30 in 30) of your challenge. For each of these hubs add a rss capsule below your comments or pretty much anywhere you like and in the link bar place:

http://hubpages.com/tag/taggetytaggety/hot/?rss

All of the challengers will do this, creating an inlink system similar to how the hubmob operates.

Benefits of 60 day challenge

The 60DC is:

This 60-day HubChallenge is more aggressive approach to writing hubs and following up with the proper promotion of them to optimize results. You will be strongly encouraged by your fellow hubbers to stick with it because it will benefit the entire group.

The 30 Day HubChallenge is like going to the gym a couple days a week where this 60 Day Challenge is like having a team with a personal trainer 7 days a week.

(Thank You - KCC Big Country)

As a smaller set of participants, we will actually be able to watch each others progress.

Once, 12 people show interest in participating, more detail will be given into HOW we will be able to assist each other in our promotion methods. An entire detailed Phase2 hub is in the works. For now, lets see if we have a dozen people capable of this commitment towards their own success

Hint: the promotion 30 days will take just as much effort as the first 30 days did!

You will walk out of this challenge with 30 new hubs that are properly optimized and backlinked at a minimum of 10 sources. With our powers combined all of our promotion efforts will be exponentially easier. We will assist each other towards our combined success.
