Do you look at the Hub page of people who post good answers or comments?

Do you ever look at someone's Hub page because they posted a thoughtful answer to a question, or because you liked something they said in a forum or in a comment on another hub?

I ask because I used to try to post quality responses, thinking that it was a good way of advertising myself. But when I think back, I'm not sure that I've ever read a Hub because I liked a comment or answer posted by the author.

If someone leaves me a good, interesting or even thought provoking comment i'll usually have a meander over their profile and see what they have to say about life however if i'm honest I usually won't read a huge amount unless I see some articles which I see as being of relevance to me and that usually involves sport and fitness or a subject that really catches my eye.

Too often you see simple 'nice hub' or 'great article' and that doesn't inspire me to see what the commenter has to say. Sometimes I won't even let those comments show on my hubs as I feel they don't add to the subject.

However it's great to receive comments and feedback.

I tend to take a glance at the profile of people who passionately disagree with me.

I do. Simply because I love reading the comments, and looking at the responses. It can be a great way to promote your writing. So, don't stop doing that.

This is quite often how to get yourself noticed if you are new. I did it myself as a newbie to introduce myself to the site.

Yes I do, because their answer or comments show that they are intellectual. And after reading i can confirm whether they are or not.

I will often check the profile of those that post answers or posts etc. that catch my attention in one way or another or that genuinely contribute. This often results in me subsequently checking some of their hubs and or their hubtivity.Occasionally it also ultimately results in me following some people.

I always try to answer questions in earnest and avoid posting questions for the sake of it or to simply get an accolade etc. and appreciate when others do the same.I am far more likely to check out the profile and works of those that do likewise.

Yes, I do check out Hubbers who give helpful or interesting answers to questions.  I usually follow them because their hubs are equally interesting.  It is seldom I don't follow someone with a good comment or response, and then it would be because they appear negative in some way that is personal to me.

I think I will now go and check out your hubpage! wink

Not always.  I look at their profile first to see if their hubs would be of interest to me.
