   When did you feel you "fit in" around here?
   
   How long after joining Hubpages and being consistently active did you feel you were bonding with other members and were welcomed?  What made this happen and did it affect your hubs or success?

   From day one! I had a hiccup or two along the way, but after getting to know people better, and they in turn me, it has been smooth sail'n ever since! I truly appreciate this community. I feel that there's none quite like it!

   Everyone has been wonderful from the start!  It was a challenge to get all the information down and I always seem to find something new to do to my hubs to get them to be more productive, but even that has been a positive experience!  Hopefully you are experiencing the same!

   I'm still new here and whilst I've not been here long enough to bond with any other hubbers yet, I'm finding that the more I interact the more comfortable I'm feeling. I'm sure on HubPages as in life bonding can take time.

   Almost immediately from the start. I received fan mail welcoming me from one of the top hubbers and it has been mostly great ever since. I had to deal with a mean-spirited hubber once. But HubPages helped me out with that. It is a great community to write and learn!

   I have been here for a few months and would not say that I fit in here well although I keep coming back because I think that I will find my place eventually unless someone decides to maliciously delete my account which I am prepared for. I find Hubpages to be stuffy and it reminds me of Animal Farm where "All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others"

   Everyone has been friendly and supportive from the start.  However, just as in the regular world, it did take a couple of months of regular activity to establish relationships with a number of the regulars in the categories I regularly visit.  Be willing to step out a bit and most other hubbers will respond warmly.

   It took me a while. But I also took a few week long to month long breaks in between writing periods, so I think that probably had some affect. However, since I've started writing again on a regular basis, I've had a great increase in traffic and great responses from fellow hubbers.

   Even though I've had an account for almost 2 years, I just actually started writing a week and a half ago. So far everyone I've interacted with has been nice. I've not "clicked" with anyone yet but there are a few favorites I've developed that I can see a friendship developing with over time.

    I have traveled this country extensively, and have lived in many states, cities and counties.  I have worked in many venues.
    
    There have been people who welcomed me, and people who grated my nerves.
    
    It is the way of the world.
    
    I have made a few friends, worthy of bearing my true self too, most , although, kind people, have been kept at arm's length.
    
    
    Looking backwards, I can recall being 4............since then, I have NEVER, truly, felt that I "fit in" or was truly a part of the crowd.   The flaw must be internal, because, I have met and crossed paths with warm and welcoming people.   Even, in their presence, I can not reveal all.
    
    Bonding, with some, is NOT the same as 'being a part of the crowd'........it is not.  Where ever, I might go, I will be my own private self.....choosing what to share/reveal, and what to keep to myself.  It is not about the people that I might  meet, it is about "me".   I do not yet, know why.
