Everytime I post a new hub my hubber score goes down. Why?

    Everytime I post a new hub my hubber score goes down. Why?

    Because your overall Hub score is an average of all your hubs, most new hubs are published within hours of completion and are not given a chance for the moderators to read them, so the score may start low and climb.

    Write a Hub article over the course of a week, this allows the moderators to read and evaluate it, keep refining it everyday. Let it sit there and continue to tweek it, create links, check spelling and grammar, create artwork for it. The Hub score will rise, the page views will climb and then when you feel it is complete publish it.

    It will start with 10 to 20 page views and a higher score.

      what's your source for this info????  if a hub is unpublished NO ONE else can see it, and 'moderators' are certainly not watching it.
      HP admits that they PURPOSELY raise & lower scores a few  points every day for NO REASON.  '

    somethgblue is right. new hubs always score lower. in fact if you got some unpublished hubs they affect your score too, if I am not wrong and the system is still as such since I have not been active creating hubs these days

    Thanks. I noticed my hubs go up on Saturday when I stop writing and goes back down on Sunday after I publish my first hub for the week.

      again, hubscores vary RANDOMLY - HP wont divulge the details but they do admit that changes can be random

    dont worry about it - the quality of your hubs is much more imprtant than how HP happens to score them on a particular day.  your hubscore has no effect on how google rates your page, and if you're interested in traffic/earnings that's all that really counts
