Can you have more than one internet browser on your lap top? Which browser works best with Hubpages?

I have internet explorer but I'm unable to leave comments and photos don't display well on my laptop. I'm wondering if I can use a web browser that works well for hubpages, but I still need to retain my internet explorer. Can I download another browser and not have it replace or over-ride my original?

I think Google Chrome is by far the better browser. Free download  smile Yes, You can have several browsers. Doesn't hurt one bit.

Yes, you can have many browsers on your computer, and each has advantages and disadvantages.  I prefer Mozilla Firefox, (also a free download) but will occasionally use Internet Explorer for one or two applications that work better there.

When my wife was teaching on-line classes I think she had 3 or 4 on her computer so she could see what her students were seeing.

When you install the new browser it will ask if you want it to be your default browser.  See which one you like best before clicking yes.  The help files should explain how to set the default browser.

okay, thank you both for your comments. I was scared I would get rid of something that I needed, but I'll just be careful not to make it my default. Thanks!

yes, first thing you may want to do is upgrade your internet explorer, and the next thing is to download a copy of firefox, which works wonderfully, has a smaller footprint on your hard drive, and is customizable.
