Does HubPages keep a record of your hubs?
If a hub was deleted, does hubpages have an archive somewhere that might prove it once existed?
I don't think that HubPages keeps an archive of your deleted hubs.
You can try the wayback machine to see if you can find an archive of it on the internet.

I tried to get back one of my deleted hubs but was not able to do so. I don't think they keep any such records.
With the normally generous storage space on most systems available to you, it is imperative that you at least send yourself a link to each of your Hubs. You can store those on a disc or CD, or in your rebgular, expanding emails or a new folder. Why do the work and risk losing it? Better still store the entire Hub. If someday HP ceases to exist, or drops you, even the link would not work.
If you have a Mac and have a hub, I recommend SiteSucker as a way to archive your hubs.
I deleted a good quantity of hubs that didn't get traffic, that I didn't think belonged here. (Hubs I wrote in my first couple months)
Now when I get graded on my bonus tier, it still shows that I "published x amount of hubs prior to last month" and that number is higher than the number of hubs I currently have.
Whether they keep a record of the text of your hubs, unsure. But they certainly keep track of what you've published. I'm willing to bet there is a database somewhere since hubs hardly take up any data. This doesn't mean you will be able to retrieve deleted hubs. Even if they made an exception once, people would moan and groan saying so-and-so got it and I didn't. Too many people already cry about HubPages.
HP might but they aren't obliged to provide that info. Taking a look through a search engine using exact phrases may help you locate it somewhere if it was archived. The best bet is to take the time to save your hubs in at least one or two ways that suit your needs.
Probably not...but I could be wrong. Honestly, I don't see why they would want to, I'm sure it would take up a lot of unnecessary room on their servers.
I believe once you delete a hub it's gone, unless you save your hub some how.
I suspect that HP keeps extensive archive files, but I've never probed it, nor would I expect them to supply copies of hubs I've deleted. Theirs is not a storage service, especially for 'dead files'.
I haven't always done so, but I keep a copy of my most of my hubs on my computer & intend to back them all up. It's just good back-up policy.
It's a simple process: Highlight the whole hub (pictures & all), copy, paste it to a text page and save as a file in a folder on the computer. If desired, it's then easy to print them out as 'hard copies'.
I try to also back up those copies elsewhere, either on my external HD &/or on flash drives. I've been online a long time - since 1997 - & have learned 'the hard way' about backing up anything I want to keep. It's almost automatic with me.
I am new to this ...but i know that it is very good site...and recored everything

Most of my hubs are in the 70s and 80s and I have had a steady hubscore of 96 which had dropped to 94, so i deleted 10 of my low scoring hubs which were in the 40s and 50s which increased it back up to 96. Now it has gone down to 94 again! so I have deleted ALL my low scoring hubs..Is this the...

Have you ever chosen to delete any of your hubs?If so, why? Did it have the affect that you were looking for?

Some people say you should never, ever delete a hub...only edit it and such. What makes you just completely trash your own hubs?

Fellow Squid refugees, as many of us come to the end of our first full month on HubPages, I'm wondering how those edits are coming. What's been your process for slogging through the old lenses, to turn them into shiny new hubs?

(Maybe the answers to my questions is somewhere on HP; but even if any answers are out there on the site; so many changes have been made in seven-and-a-half years, I wanted to get the absolute latest with regard the questions below):1. If one unpublishes a Hub and just...

I was on another thread and someone said many people sign up on HubPages, but very few go on to write a substantial number of quality Hubs.I wonder why this is and what HubPages can do to encourage people to stay on and improve their Hubs, which seems to be what they want. All my Hubs were recently...
