Do we earn from views from Hubpages?
Do views from Hubpages also count for the earnings? With this I mean views from fellw Hubbers.
I always thought it does but I am prety sure I read somewhere recently that only views from 'outside' make us money.
So, a bit confusing ....
Views don't generate any money. You earn from advertisement clicks. If someone visits your page, but doesn't click any of the ads, then you earned no money from that view. However a higher view count means a higher probability that someone clicked the ads. So you want higher amounts of traffic to increase your earning potential.
M.T. Dremer, thanks for the answer. I understand about the earnings we get from clicks on ads. But, I mean the AD-program, from what I understood we get earnings from views .... am i right?
I don't personally use the HubPages ad program (I use adsense and amazon) but since they substitute hubpage ads for adsense ads, I assume it functions the same.

Some people have said they've turned off HP Ads and just use Adsense and actually make more money from Adsense. I'm considering trying that out and was curious how much more some of you are making just through Adsense. Fifty percent more? Twice as much? Triple? Quadruple?

Over that time, I conscientiously stuck to all the rules and guidelines, and was rewarded by views gradually rising to around 350 per day with earnings around $25 per month. I...

I just wrote a Hub last week entitled "Adam Lambert Sexed for Success". It did quite well, in fact it receive over 1700 views in less than a week. (that's good for me, anyway). My overall ranking on hubpages as of this morning was 96. The article was ranked anywhere from 87 - 93 and the...

Even taking into account Hubpages' share, with the amount of ads, shouldn't it be a multiple of views? I reckon, there should be about 6 impressions per article, but instead, there's only about .5 on average.

I've heard people talk about turning off Adsense to earn more from the Hubpages program, but I'm really confused about how this works. Does HubPages pay better than Adsense? I thought Adsense was required to make money on HubPages and the two incomes were added up in your daily earnings. Can...
