I believe that anything is possible and it appears to be that if one puts in full time effort in the proper areas of focus for a significant and consistent period of time that they can earn money here that they will be happy with. There certainly are a few hubbers who do earn "good money" however, it was done over a period of several years and most of them have a minimum of several hundred or over a thousand hubs. An important thing to remember is that you will not only have to produce content that others want to read, you have to attract enough traffic to your hubs to earn money no matter what your financial goals are.
If you have the will power than everything is possible. Just start writing on a particular subject in the shape of series by denoting Part-I, Part-II, Part-III and so on. After writing the final part you may club the parts to make a branded eBook to be put up on sale at Amazon. Commentators will be helpful in fine tuning your articles series and with the guidance of followers and fans the finest ebook may be ready by the year end.
I suppose it depends on your definition of "good" money. I don't think that you will earn a six figure income through hubpages, though anything is possible if you put your mind to it.
I think if you are looking for quick money, than you will most likely be disappointed. I have been with hubpages for two years now. The first year I didn't really put much effort into my hubs and took me six months to get a payout. But I got out what I put in, which was pretty much junk at first.
After my first anniversary, I decided to take it more seriously and actually put time and effort into my hubs. So another year has gone by and I am happy to say I earn a regular payout. Can I pay my mortgage with it? Not yet, but my views and earnings have grown exponentially and continue to grow now that my hubs are established. I believe my viewership is growing faster now than when I first started, and I don't right hubs every month.

Let me be honest with you, I joined Hubpages in the hope that I will be able to earn some extra income to supplement my college expenses. I know there is no such thing as easy money and I shouldn't expect to live off my earnings on hubpages. But, If I get a good number of my hubs featured, how much...

I just wrote a hub on making money with HubPages but wanted to make sure it's ok before publishing. I know you are not supposed to mention what you are earning on HP, but is it ok to use titles like 'How To Earn $1000 per month on Hubpages', or 'How To Make $1 Million On Hubpages'? I don't...

My aim at hubpages is to earn an average of $500 or more per month in a years time. Right now I have 165 hubs and earn between $20-$30. I wanted to know if I can achieve my goal in a years time or less if I concentrate on keyword and good topic selection and don't do any backlinking.
