I haven't been in any of my hubs all day but twice today they have fallen for no reason as far as I can tell. My total views on my hubs was around 60 something and went down to 54, and now its down to 50. I've read that sometimes they will remove your own views on your hubs but I haven't viewed any of my hubs since yesterday and that was only the one that I wrote yesterday.

It keeps happening, I check my views a few times a day and they keep going down each time I look.

    Why is this happening?

The views are on a rolling 24 hour clock so they will constantly change.

Stats are not based on a calendar day, but on a rolling 24-hour period.

What does that mean exactly? 2 hours ago i had 54 views total for the day and right now I have 50. Where did those 4 views go? A few hours before that I had 60 something views. My views from yesterday were already gone so I don't think the clock rolling over is whats doing it.

It means that stats are updated in every hour and every update starts a new day with new 1-day stats. So don't think of it like this is the 20th and yesterday was the 19th. No. Every update starts a new day, meaning the last 24 hours.

    Example:

You had 15 views in an hour 24 hours ago.

You had 10 views in the last hour.

The 15 views 24 hours ago are subtracted,
the 10 new views are added.
Thus, your total count for the last 24 hours will drop by 5.

I figured it was something like that but the brain sometimes just had a block, lol. Well given example!
