critique hubs

   Greetings Hubbers:  I am new to HP and I have finally written my third hub.  My gut tells me I am missing something.  Currently I have not added any photos, links, videos, etc.  Do you think that that is what they are missing?  Or content or the way that it is written?  I would appreciate any feedback I can get.

   You should have at least one photo in your hub. It doesn't need to be professional. Any fitting image will do so long as it's not watermarked or very blurry or pixelated. It's nice to have a poll capsule in a hub. Makes the hub more interactive and keeps the readers there longer. Same for the video capsule. You don't need it but it won't hurt to include it. Just not sure which videos you are allowed to include as never done this myself.

   Welcome to HubPages, the community here is fantastic and very helpful.
   
   Alongside photos and other capsules, you should use headings to break up your text into nice sized chunks. You should also double check your spelling and grammar. Once you have written more hubs, provided they are related you should link them. I also add a small explanation of why a reader should click on my link and what they should expect to read.    For free professional photos that you are allowed to download and use, check out freedigitalphotos.net and Wikemedia. However, you need to attribute your images so provide the author and website.

   I read your credit card hub and found it very interesting and informational.  The suggestions in this forum will certainly help get it more reads.  At least one photo at the beginning of the hub, headings in between paragraphs, and/or some bullets when making your points.  It sometimes  just takes time to be found.
