Google Analytics gives all sorts of metrics. Which is your favorite? Which is the most useful? Which do you pay the most attention to?

I could spend hours watching my traffic in real time. I also like how I can tell where the visitor is and how long they have spent on each hub. Real time is the bomb! big_smile

OMG - another addict!  I love it,too, and keep a tab opened there.

You never know what you'll find - once was a visit from the white house, and a few days ago one hub suddenly had over 80 visitors (at the same time), all from the same small town.  Never did figure out what that was about.

I find real time a real waste of time LOL.

I think one of the most useful things to use analytics for is comparisons.

...say I've made a major edit to a hub - Do people now stay on the hub longer than they did before? A comparison can tell you.

...or what if I change the place I put an internal link - maybe I try putting it in the second paragraph instead of the last - does my bounce rate decrease? Again, a comparison can tell you the answer.

There are loads of these kinds of "little tests" that you can carry out to help you improve your hubs and viewer experience.

I like looking at my visitors to see how my Hubs are doing. It took me a while to figure out what the first question was when it showed up!

My favorite is looking at the magic numbers.

I'm happy to know that I'm not alone. Do you use any of these stats to modify how you hub, or are they simply validation for you?

Real time, definitely even though it's just ego tripping.

I like looking at "Page views the last 30 minutes" because it gives me a better picture of how many visitors I actually had. "Real Time" is always just a hand full of viewers for me. I hope one day I will reach "95" like lady rain. smile That's a lot of Real Time going on. WOW!
