I had a (!) broken links warning this morning on a recently published Hub, but it was not immediately evident why. No highlighted link when I went into edit mode.
Are we still supposed to get the highlighted link with the new changes? I didn't see anything with a strike-through either.
I had to go link-by-link through my page until I found the issue (I had incorrectly entered a link when I published).
Maybe it was a fluke, but thought I'd mention it anyway in case something isn't acting right after the change to the links warning system.
Yes, please let us know if you see it occur again.
You can also see all of your broken links for all of your Hubs here.

It looks like there may be a small subset of broken links that are not being indicated as such during edit within the Hubtool. This information has been passed on to our engineering team.
I will post an update when the issue has been addressed.
You may want to use the broken links page to see all of the URLs in your Hubs that should be addressed.
http://hubpages.com/my/hubs/broken-links
You can also use third party tools to check the URL and let you know what the server is returning for each link. This can be especially helpful when the server is forwarding the URL to another.

Thanks Matthew. And thanks for the reminder about the Broken Links Report. I didn't think to check that, but will next time.
Thanks for reporting. We will keep an eye out for the issue. If you see this again, alert us before fixing it so we can see the bug. Thanks!
Same here. The hub: http://luisegonzalez.hubpages.com/hub/W … hotography
Shows a broken link message but couldn't find it.
Go to the broken link page for all of your Hubs and you can see, and re-test the URL.
http://hubpages.com/my/hubs/broken-links
It is listed there and is not a valid link.
SERVER RESPONSE: HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found
You can see the HTTP code here.

Broken links should also show as highlighted and with strike through, so I forwarded this specific instance to our engineering team to see if we can track down and resolve the issue.

I had six hubs showing broken links yesterday. I corrected all of them, but two are still showing the broken link icon. And, the edit date hasn't updated. Anyone else seeing this?

Have you had this happen to you? I searched for the highlighted broken link but I could not find one. So how do you clear the notice?

Matthew, I got a broken link icon for this hub. When I put it in edit mode, nothing is highlighted. I deleted one pic I thought it might be and two promotional comments with a website.com. It's still saying that the broken link is there but I can't find it. Please check,...

It's not professional, and readers are getting a false impression. Has anyone heard why false YT broken links report this keep happening?

For a couple of weeks now, when I go into my account, one of my hubs is showing a broken link. However, every time I go into it, there's nothing highlighted, nor is there a cross-thru on a link when I'm not in edit mode. I was thinking this is an HP glitch, but too much time has gone by now for...

This hub:http://dzymslizzy.hubpages.com/hub/The- … land-CurseHas, for the second time, garnered the "malicious links" warning. I have checked. THERE ARE NO MALICIOUS LINKS IN THAT HUB!! They are all perfectly legitimate links to the original reference sites I...
