It's not professional, and readers are getting a false impression. Has anyone heard why false YT broken links report this keep happening?

I just hit "ignore" on about three dozen "broken link" alerts this morning.

FYI, if the broken link warning is a "false positive," your readers will still be able to see the video.

For now, on your end, just click the "ignore" button in the broken link page in their account to get rid of the warnings.

Samantha, I wonder if these “false positives” are happening because YouTube started asking the viewer to agree to cookies before the video starts playing. I figure the bot that checks for broken links can’t respond to that question.  Just an idea to look into.

Good to know how to remove the warning. I changed out all the videos in a hub yesterday that warned of a broken link and today it is still broken.

Peg, I am so sorry to hear that happen. I hope it wasn't too many.

It's still good to check them. I had a broken link warning this morning, and it really was a broken link.

I'm getting a lot of these fake "YouTube Broken Links" again. This is a great thing to have if it's working; I just hope that search engines can't see the faulty warnings. Plus it is a bit aggravating going through all the videos to make sure none of them are broken.

Google flagged one of my articles for Navigation issues, which includes "your website has broken links." My article did not have broken links, fake broken links. The issue got resolved, but it's a pain and extra time, going back and forth with Google and Team HP.  Turn it off until they can fix it.  Why keep it on if it doesn't work?

Same here, I got tons of alert yesterday about this YT issue. Actually, I tried changing one YT link for my article but seems like it's not a problem on my part because after the team reviewed my article the issue remained. Just waiting for them to resolve this issue.
