So glad we get more notice this year! smile It seems like last year it wasn't announced this far in advance - or maybe I just didn't notice.

Now I have time to really ponder it and vote for more of the categories.

This is the first time I have heard of the Hubbie Awards due to being away so much, so I will nominate some people this year!

WOW! 151 hubs in 5 months. I'm guessing some of those are transfers? Either way, still totally awesome!

        Another category...

        Most Prolific Hubber?

      I like this idea.

      For the:
Heavy set, we can have the Chubby Hubber.
Those with two accounts, the Double Hubber.
Those who love Bubblews, the Bubble Hubber.
Those who complain a lot, the Blubber Hubber.
Those who love land, the Lubber Hubber.
And then of course, the Rubber Hubber... you can fill in your own definition.

I think most of these can be adapted to  new accolades -- like the ones I suggested in my "new accolades needed", hub.

Thanks paradigmsearch. You are correct, a lot of them are transfers I have had saved on my computer either from old writing, or stuff I had posted elsewhere but took down over time. I love writing and find it to be very cathartic. I dont know what I would do if I could not write. I would definitely qualify as one of the craziest hubbers, that is for sure!

HubPages is lucky to have you. And you've found the best place on the Net for the writing thing. All the other writers' sites are pretty much a shambles these days. big_smile

I think we should all write hubs that are satirical acceptance speeches before the awards are even given. Whos in?
