I edited three un-featured Hubs that were transferred from Squidoo on 9/5 and 9/6 and clicked "Done Editing" and they are still unfeatured and there are no comments of why.
The two on 9/5 were:
http://judyfilarecki.hubpages.com/hub/g … e-in-a-cup
http://judyfilarecki.hubpages.com/hub/c … -pie-85770
The one on 9/6 is:
http://judyfilarecki.hubpages.com/hub/c … ndwich-bun
I know there is a lot going on with all these transfers, but it seems like 4 days should be enough to have them responded to at least using the automatic system to check them.
Judy
Judy, those Hubs are no longer published. This is very different from being not Featured.
And none of us can read them. You will need to email admin about these.
Sorry, I'm new to the terminology. Yes. They are unpublished. I'll have to find out how to email administration
Judy,
Here is more about Featuring, and how that works.
http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/Featured-Hubs
And you can contact admin by clicking the small word "help" in the upper right corner of the HubPage screen.
I would recommend going to the hub and clicking "edit". There should be a warning of some kind that explains why it was unpublished. Read the warning and fix it. It is possible that whatever fix you have done so far was not sufficient.
I fixed all the warnings on 9/5 and 9/6 so none are showing and then clicked Done Editing. On my statistics page there is no symbol; such as pending. I'm contacting administration directly now so we'll see what happens.
Thanks
There was no option to Publish, only Unpublish or Done Editing. When I questioned this, I was told by a moderator, that Done Editing publishes it. I have send an email to the admin.
Guess what? I went back and looked at each of them and there is now a button to Publish so I clicked on that, and I now get a message about 24 for Quality Review and it now has symbol for pending. Yah!
Thanks for the suggestion.
For what it's worth, I can see all three of them now.
Yep! I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. Thanks
Good to know. FYI: The QAP process used to take about three hours. Now, it can take a day or two. I think when all the new Hubs from Squidoo have been evaluated, the process will only take a few hours. Waiting can be stressful.
One thing I recommend to you is that you do NOT share your Hub anywhere (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) until the QAP process is complete. You don't want a search engine to find the URL when it has a NoIndex tag on it. (Sends the wrong message!)

First off, my hubs are transferred from Squidoo, and I am aware of various issues there. I'd already checked and edited hubs after the transition, so this is all post transfer. What I don't understand is why some of my hubs get unfeatured after I've edited them? One even got...

Hi its Louise again, I was wondering if anyone knew how to edit your hubs so that they can be featured and how often you edit them. I am trying to make blogging into a part time job or full time job but don't know how to get paid doing so and I am a horrible editor of my own stuff. ...

On a different account, somewhat "experimental" account, one of my Hubs is unfeatured. Generally my inclination was to unpublish it and move it or just delete it. But I kept it and put it in a Hub group. Meaning, if the Hubs before and after it get traffic, possibly the unfeatured one...

Last night I went in an edited a capsule so that it would be full width, which is what HP wants everyone to do. The article I edited has been published and featured since 2012. When I went in and edited, however, the editor that read it decided that it was no longer going to be featured. I was told...

I have a hub that was moved here from Squidoo in September that I haven't touched at all. But, now it's unfeatured due to lack of engagement. I thought I had four months before stuff like that happened.

I am just curious, all 92 hubs of mine are featured. In your opinion, should one delete (although Featured) any hubs where the score on a particular hub has eventually dropped way down from when it was initially high at one point? Or would it be better to just unpublish and later...
